Technical Estimator / Applications Engineer required to join a leading HVAC manufacturing representative.The Technical Estimator / Applications Engineer will compile cost estimates, including equipment, labour and materials, for HVAC systems including AC, VRF, Applied and Unitary products.This Technical Estimator / Applications Engineer should have experience in undertaking estimating duties in the Mechanical, HVAC and/or general Construction industry. You need to be able to commute to the office in Metairie, Louisiana.Package –$70,000-$150,000Medical, Health, Dental401(k)Technical Estimator / Applications Engineer Role:Responsible for compiling cost estimates for HVAC systems including AC, VRF, Applied and Unitary products.Ensure accuracy in all pricing including equipment, labour, and materialsAssist the sales team by providing detailed product information and estimates for Mechanical HVAC system productsWork with Mechanical Contractors, Consulting Engineers and clients to ensure clear detail on specification, project requirements and pricingAble to commute to the office in Metairie, LouisianaTechnical Estimator / Applications Engineer Requirements:Undertaken estimating duties in the Mechanical, HVAC and/or general Construction industryUnderstanding of HVAC products such as VRF systems, Applied, Unitary productsManaging multiple estimates simultaneously ensuring pricing and project details are correctHigher level qualification and/or degree in engineering/mechanical or relevant industry is preferredAble to commute to the office in Metairie, Louisiana
