About the job K13 - Powertrain Systems Engineer Job Description: Responsibilities:Performing powertrain function analysis and function decompositionRequirement elicitation activities from system to SW and traceability over V-cyclePropulsion system high level functional requirement artifact creation in IBM DOORS/IBM DOORSNext Gen (DNG) including attribute classificationsPropulsion System Operating Modes Identification, Analysis and Documentation in DNGPropulsion System energy conversion, storage and delivery understanding and requirementdevelopment considering standards and OBD complianceParticipate in the Agile Methodology to plan product backlog and identify potential risksDevelop simulation/virtual models for specific propulsion features/functions using MATLAB, SysML Rhapsody Requirements:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Electronics Engineering other related Engineering degreeMinimum 10 years' experience in conventional and hybrid powertrain development Good understanding on overall vehicle dynamics and vehicle system functioningGood understanding automotive powertrain architectureProficient in requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS Next Gen etc Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Vector Tools for data collectionVehicle Validation or Powertrain Calibration experienceFamiliarity with Agile project managementExperience with overall vehicle development cycle and Change management processGood communication skills, able to lead meeting with cross functional team
