Mining Inside Sales Application Engineer

Cornell Pump Company is seeking an Inside Sales Application Engineer to join our team in Clackamas, OR.This is a great opportunity to join our Mining Market team where you'll support customers by helping them select the right equipment, answer technical questions, manage quotes, follow up on leads, and build strong relationships with customers and dealers. You'll also assist with product demos, support larger projects, and collaborate with your team.Location: Clackamas, ORSchedule: Onsite Monday - Friday, 7am to 4pm (option to work from home one day a week)Salary: $60,000 to $70,000What You'll DoAnswer customer questions by phone and email about equipment selectionHelp customers choose the right pump models using technical information (BOMs, curves, dimensions)Prepare quotes and process sales ordersFollow up with leads and existing customersAddress technical and business questions or concernsProvide product demonstrations when neededSupport and manage larger projectsBuild strong relationships with dealers, customers, and coworkersRepresent the company at dealer events, trade shows, and customer visits (some travel required)Education And/or ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience1-2 years of inside sales or related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Mechanical aptitudeStrong communication and customer service skillsProblem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMining industry knowledge is a plusWhat We OfferCornell Pump takes pride in offering competitive pay, advancement opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
