This role is a key part of our operation. You’ll be responsible for tracking materials, preparing kits for production, and making sure our system reflects what’s actually happening on the floor. You’ll work closely with production, purchasing, and quality to keep things aligned and solve problems as they come up.Essential Job Duties/ FunctionsMaintain accurate inventory records for purchased and manufactured materialsPick and prepare kits based on production schedulesProcess returned materials and update counts in the systemReceive and verify incoming materials, including customer-supplied inventoryMonitor inventory levels and flag shortages or concerns earlyTrack purchase orders and follow up on issues or delaysInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with internal teamsPerform cycle counts and daily inventory checksCompare physical inventory to system data and correct variancesSupport continuous improvement in how materials are managed and trackedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, or relevant hands-on experienceComfort working in an ERP system and using computers dailyStrong attention to detail, you catch things others missAbility to stay organized and manage multiple tasksSolid communication skills and willingness to work with different teamsBasic math skills for counting, tracking, and reconciling inventoryPreferred QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with inventory control or warehouse processesExperience with systems like IFS or similar ERP platformsForklift experience or certificationWORKING CONDITIONSTypical working conditions at Kitron are indoors, safe, well lit, temperature controlled, low exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors, clean and sanitary conditions with average light industrial noise. Production areas have machinery with moving parts. Static dissipative smock, and shoes are required.
