Chief of Staff (San Francisco, On-site) About Lance Lance (YC W26) builds autonomous AI agents that run hotel operations end-to-end, from answering guest calls to managing workflows across systems. We work with leading hotel groups across brands like Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt, and are already deployed across 50+ properties in the U.S. Our agents don’t just assist, they execute. They integrate directly into existing hotel systems, make real-time decisions, and handle complex, multi-step operations. Total Compensation $120,000 Cash, Equity, Bonus Role Overview We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO and help scale Lance from early traction to a category-defining company. This is a high-intensity, execution-driven role. You’ll operate across product, operations, and go-to-market, building systems, driving initiatives, and ensuring the company moves fast. What You’ll Do Work directly with the CEO on day-to-day operations and priorities Build and deploy AI automations to increase internal productivity Drive strategic projects across product, ops, and GTM Own cross-functional execution and keep teams aligned Work closely with customers, including hotel executives, on deployments and communication Support marketing, messaging, and sales efforts Fill gaps across the company as needed What We’re Looking For Strong operator with high ownership and bias for action Deep interest and experience with AI automations, agents, or workflows Exceptional communication and ability to work with executives Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working long hours when needed, this is not a 9–5 role Background in consulting, startups, or strategy is a plus Why This Role Work directly with the founders on core decisions High ownership from day one Exposure across the entire company Build real systems, not just decks
