About the Role: We are seeking a Junior Python Developer to help build, test, maintain, and improve Python-based applications, services, scripts, and automation workflows. This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates who can demonstrate practical Python programming ability through internships, coursework, personal projects, freelance work, open-source contributions, or early professional experience. You will work with experienced developers and engineers while gaining hands-on exposure to software development, APIs, databases, testing, debugging, and modern development practices.

What You'll Do: Develop and maintain Python code for applications, services, scripts, and automation workflows. Write clean, readable, and maintainable code. Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback. Debug application issues and investigate errors. Identify root causes and implement appropriate fixes. Work with SQL databases and structured data. Build, maintain, or integrate REST APIs. Create and maintain unit tests. Use Git and established version-control workflows. Document technical work and development processes. Collaborate with developers, engineers, QA professionals, and other stakeholders. Participate in Agile or similar software-development processes. Continuously learn and apply software-development best practices. Required Qualifications0–2 years of relevant development experience, including internships, academic projects, freelance work, personal projects, or equivalent practical experience. Practical Python programming experience demonstrated through projects, coursework, or professional work. Understanding of programming fundamentals, functions, modules, and data structures. Basic understanding of debugging and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Git or another version-control system. Ability to read existing code and implement focused changes. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or another Python web framework. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.Exposure to unit testing. Understanding of object-oriented programming. Familiarity with software-development lifecycle practices. Exposure to CI/CD concepts. Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerized development. Experience using Git-based development workflows. Exposure to Agile development methodologies. Compensation

Base Salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year
