Project Estimator

Job description: The Engineering Department at Romtec is looking for a Project Estimator to join our team. Romtec is a Design Build Firm specializing in Parks and Recreation structures. Actively identify and pursue new vendors for construction materials and negotiate pricing. b. Maintain professional relationships with local construction vendors, which may involve in person meetings at Romtec. c. Prepare material lists from reviewing building plans that reflect material sizes, quantities, etc. d. Work collaboratively with the Engineering Department regarding material function and constructability. e. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) It is important that the Project Estimator has: a. Detail-oriented mindset. b. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. b. Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and general office computer and software capabilities. c. 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree (a plus) – In any field. **Romtec, Inc. participates in E-Verify.
