Controls Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems for our manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on safety and quality. The Process Controls Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement control systems for manufacturing processes
Optimize and validate existing control systems for efficiency and quality
Collaborate with process engineers to integrate control solutions
Develop and review schematics and documentation for control systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs and vision systems
Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations
Conduct training for staff on new systems and processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and vision systems
Proficiency in CAD software for designing control systems
Familiarity with packaging processes and quality standards is a plus!
