Process Technician

Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is looking for a strong and motivated Process Technician for the manufacturing operations in Thomson, GA (located just outside of Augusta, GA).The Process Technician monitors operations process flow and quality of production parts related to Compound Injection Molding; and trouble-shoots any equipment problems. Responsible for Machine and Tooling Setup and ensure the accuracy, efficiencies, and parameters of process change.Duties and Requirements of the Job(This section is not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as needed).Start up, process and shut down the compound injection molding equipment and lines.Conduct tool changes on compound injection molding linesConduct trouble shooting and maintenance task on compound injection molding linesOversee the chemical room which includes but not limited to;Monitoring and troubleshooting Caloritronic Gravimetric blending systemOrdering supplies from the off- site warehouseChanging out the chemical boxes when one is emptyCleaning the equipment daily in the chemical roomTrouble shooting issues with the vacuum pumps, filter system, mixing equipment and hopper in the chemical roomOperate, program and trouble shoot 3 robotsTrouble shoot issues with the PUR (ABB) robot, PUR mixing station and PUR RHD and LHD fixturesBuild and repair the PUR mixing head and A and B valveOperator the PUR robot to a level of programming it to touch up out of tolerance pointsTrouble shoot 3 Sonic WeldersPayrate is approximately $26/HR (Payrate may change depending on experience)Note: This section is not inclusive. Other duties are assigned as necessary to support team goals.Please refer to the required list of skills and experience below. Education can be substituted with equivalent experience.
