Senior Software Engineer- API Development and IntegrationLocation: Durham, NC/Westlake, TX/Merrimack, NH, Smithfiled, RIDuration: 12+ monthsJob Description:Proven hands-on software development experience in Java Web services and API solutions.Capability to support critically important customer facing platforms and applications.Expertise in open-source streaming products, Micro services and Message Oriented Middleware, Stream processing, Master Data Management.Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core and JavaScript.Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services.Experience in documenting APIs using an API documentation framework (Swagger).Java 8+ (Lambda functions are written in Java) REST API Microservices Container technologies.Experience with CI/CD pipelines AWS (going to be working with this day-in day-out) CloudFormation Working with, deploying and maintaining services in AWS Database skills (not expert, just familiar) Usage of multiple technologies SQL NoSQL Must have experience with at least 1 of each 4.
