Canopy Sioux Falls Downtown is looking to welcome an On-Call Banquet Server to join the team! Our hotel, which features 216 rooms, 12 meeting rooms, and over 16,000 square feet of event space, is located right next to historic Falls Park and the Levitt Outdoor Amphitheater. Our 20+ team members report to the Director of Food and Beverage. The ideal candidate holds 1+ years within restaurants as a server. Prior customer service experience preferred. Ability to work the required shifts. Previous banquet experience a plus! Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Set banquet tables to meet function specificationsDeliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments, and accompanimentsEnsure menu knowledgeRemove china, glassware, silverware, etc., from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding areaEnsure guest satisfaction throughout the meal serviceRespond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient mannerAssist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationshipsAssist others with side work, including, but not limited to, cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.What are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
