They will also provide guidance on positioning and visibility, and offer strategic fundraising oversight, particularly in the areas of climate, sustainability, and health. Applicants for this role should be senior executives with a strong network of potential funders and partners, particularly within the relevant sectors. A proven track record in supporting major funding commitments, experience in organizational positioning, and insight into global funding trends are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the values of the organization, including strategic, impact-focused, collaborative, and empathic approaches. High ethical standards, integrity, and a collaborative spirit are also key attributes. While not mandatory, prior experience as a board member in philanthropic organizations, private sector companies, or international nonprofits is considered an asset.
