Ambulance Driver (Emergency & Non-Emergency)
We are looking for qualified and experienced emergency vehicle Drivers to work out of our Merrillville, IN base. The function of the Driver is to provide support for the EMT's during the transportation of patients to and from medical facilities. Our primary service areas are Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties. We need Full-time & Part-time Drivers ASAP! If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with patients and work well with others, this is the place for you! Requirements:
- Previous Ambulance driving experience a must! (No other type of vehicle driving experience will qualify)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age to apply
- Must successfully complete the Company's Interview process and Protocol exam
- Current CPR credentials
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain/receive daily work logs and assignments using smartphones and tablets. Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills and communication abilities are necessary to interact with clients.

Responsibilities:
- Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information.
- Provides appropriate patient care during transport and asset EMT where necessary
- Completes a daily inventory vehicle maintenance checklist as required and immediately reports any malfunction.
- Assist other crew members in maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of ATC's vehicles. Cleans vehicle at the end of every shift.
- Maintains confidentiality of client information.
- Attends scheduled staff meetings.
- Arrives at scheduled time and completes transports in a timely manner
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager
