Quality Engineer Staff - Grand Prairie, TX

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s level degree or higher in STEM Prior Mechanical quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods,work instructions and procedures for the inspection ofmanufactured and procured products. Able to interpret drawings and specifications to developand apply quality test, inspection methods and workinstructions. Hands on experience dealing with inspection ofhardware and rework / repair of hardware. Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools. Experience in disposition of non-conforming products. Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Effective communication skills, written, oral, listening,technical writing. Effective interpersonal skills, including team buildingand collaboration. Demonstrated presentation skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule.Job DescriptionYou will be the Quality Engineer Staff for the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. AS9100 interpretation, application experience, andcompliance auditing. Experience with performing First Article Inspections toAS9102 requirements. Experience working with Government customers andsuppliers in a sustainment environment. Experience in establishing Performance Metrics foridentifying process improvement. Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques. Experience developing quality standards, methods,work instructions and procedures for the inspection ofmanufactured products. ASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification (GreenBelt / Black Belt).
