JOB OPENING: Industrial Electrical Foreman
Lighthouse Electrical provides industry-leading industrial electrical services to clients throughout California's Central Valley. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Foreman to oversee and coordinate electrical installations and maintenance in an industrial setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of six (6) years in the industrial electrical trade or equivalent experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of the practical application of industrial electrical construction.
“California State Certified Electrician” preferred.
Clean DMV record required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Must be able to bend and thread EMT, Rigid, and PVC-coated conduit.
Must be able to install switchgear, MCCs, and panels.
Must be able to terminate power and control wiring neatly and accurately.
Must be proficient with: Power and control from 24vdc to 480 vac. Troubleshooting complex control circuits from Motor to PLC I/O. Use of DMM, Megger, Circuit Tracer, and other necessary test equipment.Ability to read and understand Plans, Specifications, Maintenance Manuals, and Electrical Schematics. N.E.C. Microsoft Office
This is a working Foreman Position (HANDS-ON).
On-time (arriving on-site before your employees).
Ensure that jobs are completed on budget and on time.
Ensure that direct reports are on task.
Hire/fire employees at the direction of the supervisor.
Work with and around other trades.
Perform projects and service calls as necessary to adhere to a schedule.

Must move in and around the office, production and customer’s sites. Must be able to travel by car, plane, and other transportation to visit customers’ sites to analyze needs. Some sites can have rough terrain, loud noise, and extreme heat.
Must have good vision and be able to read small print, see colors, read and understand contracts, write proposals and plans, use a computer to communicate via email, conduct research, and prepare reports, documents, and letters.
Must be able to communicate via telephone and in person.
Must be able to communicate verbally in person and via telephone to understand customer needs, provide directions, explain solutions, and present information.
Physical requirements also include walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, stretching, reaching and climbing stairs, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
