We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.Senior Security Analyst| Pay Range : $97,580.00 - $126,795.00Join our Security Information and Access Management Team as a Senior Security Analyst!We’re hiring a Senior Security Analyst to help defend critical infrastructure—systems that cannot fail. In this role, you’ll work on real, high-impact security threats across both IT and cloud environments, supporting the protection of the U.S. power grid. This is hands-on work with real ownership, real consequences, and a mission that matters.You’ll be part of a collaborative Cyber Security team responsible for security event and incident management, cloud security, and enterprise log monitoring. Day to day, you’ll investigate security events, support and enhance logging solutions, onboard systems and applications, and help deploy and maintain cloud security tools such as CASB. This role also participates in an on-call rotation and works closely with internal teams across the organization.The ideal candidate is team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively at all levels, and take ownership of protecting critical systems. This is a strong opportunity to collaborate with industry peers and contribute directly to the security of national infrastructure.What You'll DoLead security event and incident response efforts across the enterpriseAct as an escalation point for complex or high-impact security threatsOwn and optimize enterprise logging and cloud security solutionsDrive improvements in cloud security tooling and processes, including CASBPartner with internal teams to assess and address security concerns, including investigations, assessments, and reporting findings to leadershipSupport and enforce internal security controls and external compliance requirementsReview and assess security processes and controls, recommending improvements where neededServe as a subject-matter expert on CIP and other control-based security requirementsMentor junior analysts and support ongoing team developmentCollaborate closely with IT, architecture, and business leaders on security initiativesParticipate as an active member of the Cyber Incident Response TeamRepresent the Cyber Security team in industry forums, as neededAssist with reporting KPIs and KRIs to leadershipSupport the development and delivery of security awareness trainingAdminister core security services (SIEM, EDR, firewall access, VPN, IDS/IPS, MFA)Participate in the cyber on-call rotationEducation RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experienceExperience RequirementsSix (6) years of relevant IT experienceTwo (2) years of security-related experienceRequiredFluency in English and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of technical staff and managementExcellent oral and written communication skillsFlexibility and the ability to function with constantly changing and multiple prioritiesExcellent organizational skillsGeneral understanding of industry compliance requirementsUnderstanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and ProceduresPreferredIn-Depth knowledge of the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) StandardsHands-on experience with Palo Alto Prisma, Splunk, and CrowdStrikeCertifications such as SSCP, CAP and Security+ preferredWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.Position Type, Location, and Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time, hybrid on-site role based in Little Rock, Arkansas. The standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours as needed.
