Job Title: Sr. Payroll Specialist Summary:Handles end-to-end payroll processing, benefits administration, and related accounting tasks. Ensures accurate wage calculations, tax compliance, and benefit reconciliations. Collaborates with HR, supports audits, maintains confidential records, and manages payroll system issues. Responsibilities:Process and audit payroll accurately and on timeAdminister employee benefits and maintain recordsEnsure compliance with federal and state payroll lawsCoordinate payroll changes (hires, terminations, salary adjustments)Prepare and reconcile payroll-related journal entries and reportsRespond to employee payroll and benefits inquiriesManage year-end reporting (W-2s) and tax filingsSupport payroll audits and resolve discrepanciesCollaborate with HR and external vendorsMaintain strict confidentiality of employee dataKey Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred4+ years payroll experience preferredKnowledge of payroll laws & system conversionsStrong attention to detail and confidentiality
