BASIC FUNCTIONS:The RF Antenna Engineer will work with other Electrical Design Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Drafters in developing and supporting aviation antennas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Basic simulation of antennas in frequencies ranging from VHF to Ku-band in CST or HFSSTesting and verifying different Antennas in Anechoic chambersSupport production with production issues like ATP failures and troubleshooting· Additional responsibilities as they become necessary. EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics1-3 years of work experience in RF industryWork experience in design and testing Antennas, OR Passive RF components and subsystems like combiner, splitter, isolator, attenuator…Knowledge of basic Antenna design theory, behavior and fundamentalsBasic experience with EM simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS, OR CSTTheoretical and practical knowledge of RF/Microwave passive componentsBasic working knowledge of RF/Microwave laboratory test equipment for testing of circuit and subsystems ( i.e Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication· Knowledge of MS Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.· The ability to work independently. Able to work with different levels of staff and management.· Strong attention to detail.· Punctual and reliable person.
