Assistant Director of Child Care

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Director/Preschool Teacher to join our childcare's management team. Responsibilities: - Drive enrollment numbers through detailed and enjoyable tours - Provide daily assistance to our director and ensure smooth day-to-day operations - Conduct inventory checks and order supplies as needed - Step into a classroom wherever needed to ensure coverage -Assist in promoting marketing efforts through community events -Help manage the daily schedule and open/close the center on specific days/times - Provide a variety of learning experiences through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and more - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children - Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians - Collaborate with parents or guardians to support each child's individual needs - Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations - Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times - Adhere to all licensing regulations and maintain a clean and organized classroom Skills: - Strong ability to manage a classroom of young children effectively - Excellent educational skills with the ability to plan engaging lessons - Strategic planning abilities to create a comprehensive curriculum - Knowledge of education administration principles and practices - Leadership qualities to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues -Willing to work with all age groups including infants, toddlers, twaddlers, preppers, and preschool or Pre-Kindergarten children. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) - Previous experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred) - CPR/First Aid certification (preferred) - Familiarity with state licensing requirements for preschool programs We offer competitive pay based on qualifications and experience.
