Controller
Overview
As Construction Controller, you will lead consolidated financial reporting for multiple operating entities in a growing construction group. You bring hands-on controllership, strong leadership, and deep expertise in WIP, percentage-of-completion, and project profitability to support growth. You will partner with field and project teams, coordinate audits and banking relations, and drive ERP-led process improvements. This role blends strategic oversight with practical accounting to sustain performance and scale operations.
ResponsibilitiesLead monthly close, GL activities, and consolidated financial reporting for multi-entity operationsPrepare and review financial statements; liaise with auditors, banks, and suretiesOversee WIP schedules, cost-to-complete forecasting, and project profitability analysisCollaborate with estimators and project teams to review budgets, forecasts, and job performanceAnalyze trends in labor, equipment, and forecast accuracy to identify risks and opportunitiesManage surety, bonding, banking, and cash reporting requirementsDevelop management reports focused on backlog, profitability, and key metricsDrive process improvements and oversee ERP implementation, integration, and optimization initiatives
