We’re looking for someone who has outstanding communication and customer service skills to work alongside our staff as the restaurant shift leader. You’ll be in charge of overseeing restaurant operations during your shifts, which includes scheduling staff and distributing assignments to restaurant employees. As a shift leader, you’ll also be responsible for greeting and serving customers, dealing with client complaints, and assuring compliance with all food and beverage safety rules. Duties:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shift.
Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaborate with key holders and management to ensure smooth operations across all shifts.
Assist with catering, food production, food preparation, cleaning, cashiering, and any other related tasks during your shift.
Customer service: Greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring customers have a positive experience.
Food preparation: Assisting kitchen staff with preparing and assembling and expediting of menu items.
Cash handling: Handling cash, making change, and processing credit and debit card transactions.
Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role, such as an assistant manager or shift supervisor, is preferred, along with:
Knowledge of food safety
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and customers.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the shift
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
