Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.About the role:You'll tackle problems involving distributed systems, large-scale data processing, and platform scalability while partnering with cross-functional engineering teams to build reliable, performant data infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who is highly autonomous, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes ownership from design through production.What you will be doing:● Developing and deploying scalable and elegant code● Work with distributed systems and data pipelines● Lead and drive projects to completion● Innovating on creative solutions to difficult problems● Work with related data infrastructure technologiesWhat we’re looking for:● 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field● Hands on experience working with Apache Spark, Databricks, Flink, Beam, or similar large-scale data processing frameworks● Strong programming skills in Python or any other OOP languages● Advanced SQL skills and experience designing efficient data models● Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud● Experience managing infrastructure using code such as Terraform (IAAS)Bonus Points!Experience managing large-scale critical production systems with minimum SLAs of 4 9'sWork Location:Remote - US - Remote work is limited to the following U.S. states:CA, CO, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, TX, WACompensation:The standard base pay range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000 annually.
