W2 OnlyNeed DevOps and Platform EngineerLocal to MO Only - Remote role Job Description:The DevTools team supports the client software delivery toolchain and enables development teams to build, test, secure, and deploy applications efficiently.As an Engineer on the Development Tools team candidates will play a key part in creating and maintaining automated solutions that streamline the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) process for various development teams across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Design, Develop, and Maintain Automation: Candidates will design, modify, and code automation scripts and pipelines within the CI/CD framework. These solutions will leverage relevant technologies to optimize workflow efficiency across multiple teams.Champion Best Practices: Candidates will actively mentor junior engineers, establishing and driving high coding standards within the DevTools team.Ensure Platform Uptime and Performance: Candidates will be responsible for monitoring and upgrading platform tools to ensure their optimal performance and functionality.Code Review and Testing: Candidates will actively participate in code reviews, contributing to quality control. Additionally, candidates will be responsible for conducting unit and integration testing to ensure code functionality.Requirements Analysis and Testing: Candidates will assist with analyzing and reviewing platform tool requirements, providing valuable insights into testing strategies and code design.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)Ability to troubleshoot and utilize the relevant findings to resolve incidentsAbility to plan, communicate, and perform product upgradesKnowledge of Test Automation toolsMust possess excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsMust possess willingness and drive to learnStrong teamwork abilities in a collaborative environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsRequired:3 plus years of experience support DevOps related technologies (CI/CD orchestration, source code management, binary management, etc.)3 plus years of infrastructure engineering experience, including Linux and WindowsExperience with JIRA, Confluence, and/or similar toolsExperience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum or KanbanExperience with middleware technologies like WebLogic and TomcatMust be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilitiesPreferred:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferredExperience with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Test Automation toolsExperience writing Java Python and GroovyExperience with Kubernetes, DockerExperience with cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure
