Benefits & Perks:Competitive Pay: $17.50 per hour Paid WeeklyHealth / Vision / Dental / Life / Short‑Term Disability6 Paid HolidaysPTO401(k) & 401(k) MatchMerit IncreasesEnd‑of‑Year BonusEmployee Referral ProgramFamily‑owned and operated with a friendly atmosphere Essential Functions – ResponsibilitiesGlass Dropping & Beading: Inserts raw glass into sashes or frames, applies weatherstripping and caulk, and installs vinyl bead for a finished, sealed unit.Set Up: Installs subassembly parts into window framesWrapper: Operates wrapping machinery, labels finished units, and stages completed windows and doors for shipment.Glass Grid Saw‑Builder: Cuts and assembles glass grids using saw equipment, ensuring accurate dimensions and proper construction per production specifications.Glass Cart Delivery: Transports and scans glass carts, verifies cart manifests, stages carts, and ensures safe, timely delivery to window production lines. Casement Floater: Supports casement window assembly by installing frames, sashes, hardware, and components; assisting with glazing and sealing; and providing coverage across assembly stations as needed.Trend Floater: Supports Trend window assembly by installing frames, sashes, hardware, and components; assisting with glazing and sealing; and providing coverage across assembly stations as needed.Patio Floater: Supports patio door assembly by installing frames, panels, hardware, and components; assisting with glazing and sealing; and providing coverage across assembly stations as needed.Performs additional duties as assigned.EducationHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.ExperiencePrevious manufacturing experience preferred but not required. On‑the‑job training provided. Training includes equipment operation, work processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.SkillsAbility to understand English and follow written and verbal instructions.Basic math, reading, and writing skills for measurements and documentation.Ability to identify correct materials, profiles, and components.Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate simple machinery and computer interfaces.Strong attention to detail and quality inspection ability.Ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain accuracy.Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow direction from supervisors.Willingness to learn and operate multiple machines, trainable for various jobs throughout the plant.Work Environment & PPEFast‑paced production environment; some areas may involve heat or working with sharp materials.Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and handle large pieces of glass.Must be able to operate equipment such as saws, welders, drills, screw guns, punches, and end mills (training provided).Required PPE based on production line or task: Safety glassesHearing protectionCut‑resistant gloves and sleeves Physical Demands: Medium to HeavyOccasional: 50–100 lbs.Constant: 20 lbs.
