A digital-first approach ensures the design of intelligent and sustainable communities.Description:Immediate need for a Civil Inspector who is responsible for providing inspection services for multiple wastewater treatment facilities including all associated pump stations and combined sewage overflow (CSO) facilities. MULTIPLE LOCATIONS: The field office is in Brooklyn, but project site locations include Brooklyn, Jamaica, and Owls Head.Responsibilities:Provide inspection services for various DEP projects that can include Plumbing, General construction/Structural, HVAC, and Electrical/Instrumentation.Ensure full-time monitoring of all construction activities to guarantee compliance with project specifications.Conduct continuous technical inspections to confirm that quality measures are implemented daily.Prepare daily field technical reports and computations.Collect and document initial, progress, and final photographs.Conduct substantial and final inspections alongside the supervisor and designated personnel.Verify contractor adherence to contract requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical fieldMinimum of five (5) years of NYCDEP construction inspection of wastewater treatment plants and facilities.OSHA 30 hoursScaffolding user 4 hoursConfined Space desiredFall Protection desiredValid driver's license and a car required.Education:Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or Construction Management, or a related technical degree.To Apply:If you have the knowledge, skills, and experience for this role, please attach your resume using our email at .Increase in salaries: We have a proven track record of negotiating above-market salaries for our permanent placements and hourly rates.Recruiters:Josh Rabbani,Bob Giangrasso,Kirty Rajput,
