Freddy's Shift ManagerFreddy's Shift Managers assist the Assistant and General Manager in the daily operations of our restaurants, providing leadership and motivating team members to meet operational goals. You'll control labor and food costs, build relationships with guests, handle guest issues and serve as a model of hospitality.Key responsibilities include:Teach and practice Freddy's standards of hospitality, quality and cleanlinessLead by example; be organized and vocal, with strong time-management skillsDemonstrate a willingness to learn and accept coaching/constructive criticismPractice situational management and maintain a sense of urgency at all timesCorrect operational mistakes with the goal of satisfying the guestSpend the majority of time on the restaurant floor (not in the office)Assess team-member performance, coach and develop them, and build a positive team cultureReduce waste, manage labor and improve overall efficiencyMaintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and equipmentFoster strong vendor relations and ensure product execution is on pointRequired skills and experience include:Natural leadership skills with a self-starting personality and even dispositionProfessional appearance and demeanor at all timesStrong communication skills with guests and team membersAbility to use a point-of-sale systemWillingness to jump in and assist co-workers; team-player mentalityPhysical requirements include:Availability to work a variety of hours (days, nights and weekends) within the local metro areaAbility to stand or walk for up to a 10-hour shift and lift up to 40 lbsWillingness to bend, stoop and occasionally use a ladderOur philosophy is that a happy team means happy guests.
