You'll sit at the intersection of market intelligence, engineering, and commercial execution — translating customer needs and industry trends into a winning global product roadmap. This is a high-visibility role that demands both technical credibility and business acumen, with significant opportunity to shape the direction of the product portfolio across automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial markets worldwide.Market & Competitive IntelligenceDevelop and maintain deep expertise in the automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial markets, including industry indices, emerging trends, and competitive activityActively participate in industry organizations and engage directly with key end-customers to capture Voice-of-Customer (VOC) insightsServe as the internal champion and external face of the Micro-V Belt product lineProduct Strategy & RoadmapTranslate market, customer, and regional needs into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and application-driven requirementsBuild and manage compelling business cases for New Product Development (NPD) initiatives, ensuring alignment on feature, quality, cost, and timeline objectivesLead the full NPI commercialization process: launch materials, product specs, go-to-market strategy, and sales trainingCommercial & Financial OwnershipSupport regional commercial teams with top-line accountability for the product line; define KPIs and align on regional targetsTranslate corporate long-range financial forecasts (LRFF) into product-level plans across products, processes, and regionsDefine outsourcing, intercompany supply, and sourcing strategies across regionsCross-Functional LeadershipPartner with Regional Product Line Managers (RPLMs) to align on portfolio priorities, pipeline development, and supply chain needsProvide insight into manufacturing capabilities, capacity requirements, and operational footprint to support market growthDrive alignment and influence outcomes across multiple functions and geographies — without direct authorityWhat Makes You a FitInfluential leader: You know how to bring people along, build global partnerships, and drive decisions in a matrixed environmentCommercially savvy technologist: You can credibly engage with engineers and customers, and connect product decisions to business outcomesStrategic operator: You think long-term but execute with urgency; you're comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at driving changeGlobal mindset: You've worked across regions or cultures and know how to navigate the nuance that comes with itRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or Marketing (accredited institution required)8+ years of experience across marketing, outside sales, application engineering, product management, or business developmentAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, trend modeling) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations)Strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred:Experience in automotive applications, power transmission systems, or related product engineeringGlobal product management or cross-regional commercial experience
