Production Planner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Planner to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules in a regulated manufacturing environment to ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and efficient workflow execution. The Production Planner plays a critical role in supporting customer requirements with a strong focus on accuracy, traceability, and schedule performance. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain production schedules to meet aerospace customer demand and delivery requirementsMonitor work order progress and adjust priorities based on changes in demand, capacity, or material availabilityCoordinate material availability with purchasing, inventory control, and supply chain to support uninterrupted production flowTrack, analyze, and communicate production status, delays, and risks in a regulated manufacturing environmentEnsure production planning aligns with quality system requirements, revision control, and configuration management standardsMaintain traceability of jobs, materials, and documentation in accordance with aerospace quality expectationsIdentify and support resolution of production bottlenecks impacting schedule adherence and delivery performanceCollaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and purchasing teams to support daily aerospace operationsExpedite or reschedule orders as needed to support customer commitments and on-time delivery performanceMaintain accurate system data related to job status, lead times, and material requirements in MRP/ERP systems Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or aerospace/manufacturing operationsExperience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferredStrong understanding of manufacturing workflows with emphasis on traceability and controlled processesExperience with MRP/ERP systems Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and adjust priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to work across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teamsExcellent organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a compliance-focused environmentProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)Benefits:Competitive pay based on experienceHealth insurance coverageRetirement plan optionsPaid time offAeroControlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
