Mechanical Design Engineer - Enclosures & Integration
Job Description: Design electrical enclosures, control cabinets, and chassis systems
Create 2D and 3D CAD models and drawing packages (AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)
Support panel layout, connector placement, and cable routing design
Interpret and work from electrical schematics and system requirements
Ensure designs meet EMC, seismic, and environmental standards
Support integration, testing, and validation of hardware designs
Document designs and support design reviews and verification activities
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define scope and resolve issues
Requirements: 4–6+ years of experience in mechanical design or electrical packaging
Experience designing enclosures, cabinets, or chassis systems
Proficiency with CAD tools (Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
Understanding of electrical systems, wiring, or cable routing
Experience creating engineering drawings and documentation
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
