Key Qualifications:Valid Pennsylvania teaching license and active PA PDE Certification for Special Education (proof required)Demonstrated experience with special education students in school environmentsFamiliarity with IEP development, meetings, and implementationWillingness and ability to travel within Carbon or Lehigh County, as assignedAvailable for full-time, in-person work (remote work not available) Role Responsibilities:Fill in for special education teachers absent across assigned counties, adapting quickly to new classroomsProvide high-quality instructional support in alignment with student IEPs and district protocolsCollaborate with school staff and administration to ensure seamless transitions and consistent careMaintain detailed documentation on student progress as required by school and state regulationsServe as an integral part of multi-disciplinary teams, communicating effectively with families and specialistsTake on extended assignments covering leaves or vacations, fostering stability in classroom routines This position follows the local school calendar and offers a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours.
