Financial Analyst
This professional will be responsible for analysis and documentation of financial and business information. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary as well as the ability in small to medium sized settings comfortably on business and financial matters. A typical day for this position is understanding, synthesizing, and documenting a collection of information including business description, business performance and industry outlooks, as well as detailed financial analysis. Work is project orientated and performed fairly independently with key touchpoints throughout a project. Work is done primarily in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Valuation assignments scale in complexities which expand with tenure. This position will include interactions with executives and advisors regarding business valuation reporting, attending and representing ESI at business conferences. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to learn, is detailed oriented, has strong written communication skills and enjoys piecing together information, and has the ability to work on multiple active projects.

Background/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
3 – 5 years of financial analysis experience
Work experience in finance or accounting; an emphasis in financial or valuation analysis preferred
Experience or interest in formal written communications on complex business and financial topics
Proficient knowledge of Excel
