We are looking for our next colleague who primarily will work with partners from our sales channel. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the renewal process for our existing partners and customers. Our partners are key to our success, so your success in this role directly translates to the overall success of the company. You will be on a team that is responsible for booking 40% of the total revenue for the Americas region.

The Sales Development Representative will join our Channel Success team. Reporting to the manager of Customer Success, you will work alongside friendly colleagues who are all focused on ensuring the success of our sales channel. The team fosters a culture of camaraderie, where everyone is encouraged to share ideas, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate each other's achievements.

You will learn the basics of client communication, how to close deals, generate revenue, and contribute to Milestone’s overall success. This initial learning phase will build a strong foundation for developing further into roles in sales or other departments within the organization.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Independently manage a pipeline of up to 100 CARE renewal opportunities for assigned territories to secure recurring revenue and increase renewal rates.
Assist sales teams, partners & customers with timely quotations and sales solutions regarding Milestone's portfolio.
Identify, enlist, and onboard potential resellers to the Milestone Partner Program
Promote renewals via specialized campaigns, lead generation, & outbound communication
Meeting your total revenue target with at least a 90% close rate for assigned Care Renewals
What you’ll do on a day-to-day basis:
Contacting resellers & up/cross sell our CARE renewals via outbound phone calls, email and/or virtual meetings.
Strategize and accurately forecast with sales teams, resellers, and other internal teams to maximize revenue and ensure the renewal of our CARE accounts by setting up weekly recurring meetings and interacting with shareholders on as needed basis
Build relationships and establish rapport with resellers and the sales team to effectively and efficiently close CARE renewals
Utilize our CRM Salesforce using best practices that ensure a high level of data quality
Educate prospective partners on the requirements and value of partnering with Milestone.
Vet inbound partner applications and provide an assessment to evaluate partner acceptance into the Milestone Partner Program. Handoff qualified partners to the correct salesperson.
Proactively monitor team inbox and case queue to answer a wide variety of sales inquiries
Collaborate with sales teams to identify training opportunities for reseller partners, such as product demos, new product features, sales tactics, etc.
What we imagine the ideal candidate profile to look like:
Minimum 2 years sales experience
Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Secondary language is valued
Extreme attention to detail in documentation and communication. The ability to respond promptly and accurately will set you apart
Experience supporting a national multi-faceted sales organization
Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
Maintain a positive attitude while adapting to change
Ability to multitask and execute in a timely and accurate manner
Must be able to work in potentially all US time zones
Physical Requirements:
Sitting/Standing at a desk for extended periods of time
Operating equipment: Using standard office equipment (i.e. computer, mouse, keyboards, calculators, copy machines, and printers)
Movement: Walking short distances, moving around the office to access files and office equipment
Lifting: Light lifting may be required (carrying files, laptop, etc.)
Carrying small items or lifting up to 10 pounds
Work Environment:
Located in Lake Oswego, OR, the Sales Development Representative role is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in office. In-office collaboration and in-person engagement with internal teams is crucial to Milestone's performance and culture.
Environmental conditions: Working in moderate noise (i.e. business office with standard office set up of computers, phones, and printers, etc.)
Occasional travel may be required up to 5%

The annual on-target earnings for this position range from $52,000 to $80,380 with most candidates falling in the $65,000 to $75,003 range. Pay is based on the level, location, complexity, responsibility, and job duties of the specific position and is just one component of Milestone’s total compensation package. Additionally, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes medical/dental benefits, FSA or HSA, 401k with 6% Safe Harbor employer match, paid parental leave, generous PTO (20 days' vacation, 10 days paid sick time, and 12 company holidays), fully paid Short Term disability policy, fully paid Long Term disability policy, and Life Insurance.
