Front Desk Receptionist

Job Overview Mitchell Financial Group is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, staying organized, and supporting client-facing events and communications. Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors, ensuring a warm and positive impression Manage and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner while simultaneously engaging and assisting clients in the lobby. Coordinate and maintain appointment calendar, including scheduling and confirming appointments Send calendars, meeting invitations, and other client communications Prepare for client events, meetings, and office functions (materials, setup, coordination) Maintain front desk organization and ensure common areas are presentable Support administrative tasks, including data entry and light office coordination Qualifications Friendly, outgoing communicator who can easily connect and converse with clients Presents in a professional, polished, and client-focused demeanor Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with email, calendars, and basic office software (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus) Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Front desk: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Baton Rouge, LA 70809 (Required) Work Location: In person
