Occupational Health Nurse

Position Title: Occupational Health Nurse Work Location: Round Lake, IL 60073 Assignment Duration: 10+ Months Work Arrangement: 100% OnsitePosition Summary: The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) provides a safe work environment for employees through medical triage, surveillance, and wellness initiatives within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for implementing an effective occupational health program at the facility level. * Act as a business partner to maximize productivity and reduce health-related costs. * Manage health surveillance, regulatory compliance, case management, and health promotion. * Provide healthcare services to employees who become ill or injured at the facility. * Practice within the parameters of professional licensure, ensuring consistency with legal, labor, regulatory, and corporate requirements. * Conduct medical triage and surveillance (e.g., audiometric tests, eye tests, physical exams, blood work, respirator assessments). * Provide wellness education and coaching. * Support various divisions including Non-Ceph, Ceph, Penicillin, and others as assigned. * Maintain medical surveillance compliance and injury/illness intake.Qualification & Experience: * MUST have Occupational Health Nurse experience. * Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. * Preferred experience in Medical Triage and Medical Surveillance. * Experience with Case Management, Public Health, and General Wellness Coaching is desirable. * Familiarity with Benchmark (Medcare) and Microsoft Office is preferred.Working Conditions & Physical Demands: * Fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. * Must travel between buildings at the Round Lake facility.Additional Information: * Reports to onsite EHS Associate Director with a dotted line to Global Occupational Nurse. * Active member of the onsite EHS team.Mobile-Optimized JD Summary: Occupational Health Nurse needed for 10+ month, 100% onsite role in Round Lake, IL.
