Machine Operator

IRD Glass makes precision glass components that go into a range of applications from car engines and airplanes to medical equipment. We have been a local Litchfield business for over 39 years. Machine Operator This position has the potential to be on any of our shifts: 2nd shift, Four 10 hour days, 2:00pm-midnight, 10% shift premium 1st shift, Four 10 hour days, 1st shift starts between 5am and 8am. Weekend shift, 3 12 hour days, 5:00am-5pm, 10% shift premium, work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours Summary of Duties A machine operator will ensure the efficient running of production by doing machine set ups, maintaining and operating various types of machinery. A machine operator will also perform regular quality checks to maintain product conformity. Will aid in the development of product and process flow. They will analyze and prove out changes to current and new processes.
