Engagement Period: June 17 – July 25 (approx. 5.5 weeks) Location: Private residence, Bel-Air, Los Angeles Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional pre-scheduled weekend outingsCompensationBase: $1,800/weekCompletion bonus: $2,000 (paid upon successful completion of the term)Total: approximately $11,900Rental vehicle provided for all work-related duties; assistant added as an authorized driver on the rental insurance policyAbout the RoleA visiting family is seeking a polished, proactive summer assistant to support daily logistics, accompany two 9-year-old children, and serve as their primary English-language conversation partner during a six-week immersion stay in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for a current USC or UCLA student looking for meaningful, well-compensated summer work in a private household setting.Key ResponsibilitiesArrival & Logistics — Meet the family at LAX, coordinate the car rental pickup, and manage luggage and transport to the residence.Daily Transportation — Morning and afternoon school runs for two 9-year-old children; driving support for the mother for errands, shopping, and appointments.Academic Mentoring — Approximately 3 hours of quiet homework supervision per day, helping the children stay focused and on task.Family Support — Accompany the family on theme park visits and weekend excursions, acting as a local guide and helper.Language Immersion — Serve as the children's primary English-language conversation partner throughout the day.RequirementsEducation: Current undergraduate or graduate student at USC or UCLA preferredLanguage: Native or near-native English fluency (the role requires a full English-immersion environment for the children)Driving: Valid California driver's license with a clean record; confident with LAX pickups and Westside Los Angeles routesProfessionalism: Discreet, reliable, and comfortable working in a private household; respectful of family privacyDisposition: Proactive, warm with children, and able to take initiativeTo Apply Please submit a brief introduction, a current résumé, and any relevant childcare, tutoring, or driving experience.
