Job Details Location: Fully RemoteSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central TimeEngagement: Contract-to-HireAbout the CompanyWe are hiring an Azure Infrastructure Architect to design, build, secure, and support scalable Azure infrastructure environments. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can lead architecture decisions, work independently, and drive technical direction across Azure infrastructure, security, networking, and DevOps.About the RoleThis role is a strong fit for someone with deep Azure experience, strong Infrastructure as Code skills, and the ability to support both cloud architecture and production operations.ResponsibilitiesArchitect, implement, and operate secure Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as CodeDesign and support Azure platform and application landing zonesBuild and maintain Azure network architecture, including subnet design, CIDR planning, VNets, and hub-and-spoke topologyEnsure Azure environments are secure, scalable, highly available, and operationally consistentDeploy and manage Azure App Services, .NET web applications, Azure SQL Databases, and related Azure servicesBuild and support containerized workloads, including scaling, upgrades, and patchingAutomate monitoring, alerting, remediation, patching, and security hardening workflowsStandardize environment builds across development, test, QA, and productionTroubleshoot Azure infrastructure, application, and network-level issues across production and non-production environmentsParticipate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and Tier 3/4 support for critical infrastructure servicesSupport cloud cost optimization and capacity planningHelp govern Azure DevOps workflows for infrastructure projectsCreate technical documentation, assessments, and recommendations for managementPartner with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure, security, and delivery practicesQualificationsSenior-level experience leading and architecting Azure infrastructure solutionsStrong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Bicep and/or TerraformExperience designing and implementing secure Azure landing zonesStrong Azure networking experience, including subnetting, CIDR planning, routing, VNets, and hub-and-spoke architectureStrong understanding of Azure security, application security, infrastructure hardening, and secure cloud designExperience automating Day 2 operational and security tasks for cloud applicationsStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevSecOps practicesExperience with Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar deployment toolsExperience deploying and managing Azure App Services, .NET web applications, Azure SQL Databases, and related servicesAbility to troubleshoot production Azure infrastructure, application, and networking issuesAbility to work independently, make technical recommendations, and lead architecture decisionsPreferred Skills3+ years of hands-on Bicep experienceTerraform experienceExperience with Octopus Deploy or a comparable deployment automation toolExperience supporting containerized workloadsExperience in Azure platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud operations, SRE, or enterprise infrastructure environmentsPay range and compensation packagePay Rate: $100/hourEqual Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.
