MORNING HOURS - Registered Behavior Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their goals through effective behavioral therapy techniques while fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-care skills. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation of client progress. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide support in social skills training and community integration activities. Utilize appropriate medical terminology when documenting client interactions and behaviors. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required within 90 days of employment. Let us help you obtain your RBT! Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or in special education settings is preferred. Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles. Ability to read, interpret, and maintain medical documentation effectively. Knowledge of medical records management and terminology related to behavioral health. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
