Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Loader Operator based out of our Sun City, AZ location. The Loader Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to meet production goals while conducting inspections, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting team communication and site operations.Day to DayPerform pre-shift inspection, maintain equipment repairs/maintenance records, and ensure that records are turned in to your supervisor.Perform proper workplace examinations to minimize safety hazards and identify mechanical issuesAssist with safety audits.Must be qualified to work in a safety sensitive environment.Operate heavy construction equipment in a professional & efficient manner to maintain production goals.Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognitionComply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operatorsPerform other duties or responsibilities as assignedSome local travel may be required to help at different local sites*Typical work schedule consists of daytime hours Monday through Friday, may be required to work overtime. Saturdays may be required based on production needsAbout youAbility to communicate orally and in writing.Must have 2 years Loader Operator experience. Preferably with Caterpillar 980 and 988Ability to accept responsibility for their actions specifically Safety relatedPrompt, regular, and predictable attendancePositive, Team-based attitudeThe ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)Working ConditionsMust be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies.Must be able to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat exceeding 100 degrees, cold and rain.While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift up to 80 pounds.
