PLC Programmer – Siemens & Allen-Bradley/Sumter, SC (Onsite- 5 days)/ContractJob Description:Develop, program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC control systems using Siemens (TIA Portal/Step 7) and Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000/RSLogix) platforms.Design and implement PLC logic, HMI/SCADA applications, sequence controls, interlocks, alarms, and machine automation solutions.Troubleshoot electrical, controls, PLC, HMI, sensors, drives, and industrial communication issues to minimize equipment downtime.Perform PLC programming, commissioning, testing, startup, and system integration for new and existing manufacturing equipment.Configure and troubleshoot industrial networks and protocols including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and DeviceNet.Interface PLC systems with VFDs, servo systems, robots, safety PLCs, remote I/O, HMIs, and other automation equipment.Read and interpret electrical schematics, control panel drawings, I/O documentation, P&IDs, and machine control specifications.Work closely with electrical, mechanical, maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering teams to resolve automation and production issues.Document PLC programs, software changes, I/O configurations, control-system modifications, and troubleshooting procedures while following plant safety standards.
