Maintenance MechanicJob Category: ManufacturingLocation: Whitehall, PA 18052, USAJob DetailsWhat you'll do:Perform daily cleaning and inspection of CNC machinery, including removing debris, checking fluid levels, and inspecting tools.Conduct regular lubrication of moving parts and replacement of air and oil filters.Inspect belts, chains, and other components for wear, ensuring proper alignment and tension.Test safety features and emergency stop functions to maintain compliance.Monitor and maintain coolant and hydraulic systems, including cleaning tanks and replacing fluids.Document maintenance activities and report potential issues to management.Perform routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to identify issues.Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical problems.Maintain and repair facility lighting, including replacing bulbs and ballasts.Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, locks, drywall, or flooring.Maintain cleanliness and safety of facility areas, including storage rooms and common spaces.Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes during all maintenance activities.What you need to thrive in this role:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Prior maintenance experience within an industrial/manufacturing setting.Mechanical aptitudePreventative Maintenance Knowledge of scheduling and performing routine maintenance.Troubleshooting Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.Safety and Security Understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety protocols.
