We have an inclusive, supportive, collaborative culture that makes National Philanthropic Trust one of the most rewarding places to work.What You'll Do:The Trading Operations Team is responsible for all aspects of ensuring all trading activity in non-discretionary accounts is conducted in accordance with NPT’s Investment Policy Guidelines. The Trading Operations, Associate is responsible for processing non-discretionary trades recommended by NPT’s donors, financial advisors/financial service partners.Salary: $55,000 plus 8.4% annual discretionary bonus. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply; compensation based on experience and internal equity.This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence Tuesday–Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for non-discretionary trading across all programs, ensuring the trading activity in all segregated investment accounts is conducted in accordance with NPT’s Investment Policy Guidelines (IPG), across all programsSupport the Staff Investment Committee (“Staff IC”) by reviewing and posting trade recommendations for Committee votesEnsures the timely resolution of donor, financial advisor and/or Financial Service Partner inquiries related to non-discretionary trade recommendationsSupport the production and delivery of monthly trading metrics for Senior Management reviewParticipates in projects related to current and future initiatives within the team and the broader Operations departmentWhat You Bring:Excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsCommitment to service excellenceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailCapable of multi-tasking in a daily, deadline-driven environment, while keeping others well-informedAbility to discern and adapt to variable volumes of work including periods of extremely high volumeExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesProficient in the suite of Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelFamiliarity with Salesforce is a plusExcellent verbal, writing, and proofreading skillsBoth a team player and capable of independent workEducation and Experience:Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in nonprofit or the financial services industryBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or related field, or equivalent experienceExperience with Donor-Advised Funds is a plus.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerUsing hands/fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipmentTalking, hearing and visual acuityOccasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching
