Job DescriptionJob SummaryLMF Commercial, LLC (“LMF”), a New York–based CMBS lender and wholly owned subsidiary of Lennar Corporation (NYSE: LEN), is seeking to expand its national Origination team. This role is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing first mortgage commercial real estate loans intended for securitization in the CMBS market.The Originator will develop and manage relationships with commercial real estate owners and mortgage brokers, identify viable loan opportunities, and work collaboratively with internal underwriting, legal, and closing teams to guide transactions from initial screening through closing.Positions are available in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles, with national deal coverage.Core ResponsibilitiesSource and originate commercial mortgage loan opportunities suitable for CMBS execution across multiple property typesInitiate and maintain broker and borrower relationships to drive new business and repeat transactionsEvaluate loan opportunities for structural soundness, credit quality, and alignment with LMF lending parametersCollaborate closely with underwriting, asset management, legal, and closing teams throughout the loan lifecycleParticipate in preliminary credit analysis, including review of rent rolls, operating statements, valuation, and sponsorship strengthAssist in negotiating primary business terms and facilitating due diligenceManage internal and external stakeholders to support timely and efficient loan executionMaintain market awareness of CRE and CMBS trends, pricing, and competitive dynamicsFor senior-level roles: provide mentorship, deal leadership, and potential broker/client coverage oversight RequiredQualifications & Experience3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate sales, structured finance, or commercial loan originationsProven exposure to commercial mortgage lending and transaction executionExisting broker and/or borrower relationships preferredSolid credit underwriting foundation, including financial analysis and deal screeningStrong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external counterpartiesSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple transactions concurrently PreferredExperience with CMBS and securitized lending structuresBroad familiarity with multiple CRE asset classesTrack record of originated or supported loan closingsFor senior titles: demonstrated production history, market presence, and ability to independently lead transactionsThis information is intended to be a general overview and may be modified by the company due to factors affecting the business.General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:This position may be eligible for bonuses.This position may be eligible for commissions.This position will be eligible for the described benefits listed in the above section in accordance with Company Policy.This information is intended to be a general overview and may be modified by the Company due to factors affecting the business.Life at LennarAt Lennar, we are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for our Associates, offering a comprehensive array of benefits designed to enhance their well-being and professional growth.
