Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the culinary team to ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety across all service areas
Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and catering operations to deliver exceptional dining experiences
Manage inventory control, food handling procedures, and kitchen supplies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste
Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining excellent customer service
Supervise dietary department activities to accommodate special dietary needs with sensitivity and professionalism
Implement food safety protocols in compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Mentor staff through training initiatives focused on culinary skills, food production techniques, and hospitality excellence
Requirements
Proven experience in banquet services, fine dining establishments, or high-volume restaurant environments
Demonstrated supervising experience with strong team management skills
Extensive background in food production, kitchen management, and catering operations
Knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory control best practices
Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate diverse teams under pressure
Familiarity with food service management software and restaurant operational tools
Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction
Relevant certifications in food safety, culinary arts or hospitality management are highly desirable
