Truck Driver Job Description Job Overview: Join our team as a Truck Driver and play a vital role in our transportation operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting various types of cargo across designated routes. This position offers opportunities for regional lane driving with a focus on store deliveries and unloading the truck using roto-carts and liftgates. Only run states TX, OK, TN, AR, LA, and MS. Early morning deliveries and weekly home time. Responsibilities: - Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to specified locations. - Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. - Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while complying with traffic laws and safety regulations. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any transportation-related incidents. - Adhere strictly to company transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
