Civil Project Engineer - Transportation

Are we the road to your future?We are currently searching for an experienced Civil Project Engineer - Transportationto support our Southwest Region located ineither Houston, McKinney, Rockwall, Round Rock, San Antonio, or Tyler, TX.You will be responsible for geometric design projects including but not limited to TXDOT and local government.What you'll be doing:Prepares and modifies reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental studies, and designs for projectsEvaluates need for design changes and makes appropriate recommendationsConsults with construction personnel concerning design constructability as related to field conditions, sequencing and scheduling of construction activitiesUses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documentsAdheres to company standards for quality assurance and quality control as defined in the quality manualSubmits documents to federal, state, and local agencies for code compliance review and obtains permits requiredWhat you need to have:B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program4+ years relevant experienceLicensed PEStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
