About the job Therapist TherapistAbout Us:We are seeking a highly qualified Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals facing substance use disorders, providing compassionate individual, group, and family therapy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize crisis intervention services, deliver informative psychoeducation presentations, and facilitate experiential learning groups. Alongside our experienced treatment team, you will assist in formulating the Master Treatment Plan and coordinating discharge planning. Join us in our mission to help individuals achieve lasting recovery.Therapist Responsibilities:Maintain open communication with facility staff, attending clinicians, physicians, clients, and familiesLiaison with community agencies, vendors, and payers of health servicesReview assessments from referring facilities and note problems/issues that require further attentionGather comprehensive diagnostic information through psychosocial assessment interviewDevelop an Integrated Summary, bringing together information from all assessments to identify problem areas that may affect treatment and/or need to be addressed in treatment planningDevelop a comprehensive problem list that reflects clients individual issues as described in the assessments and Integrated SummaryPresent psychosocial and diagnostic information to treatment team in a clear, concise mannerTherapist Requirements:Masters degree in social work, psychology or related human services fieldCurrent license as an LPC or LCSW in the state of NJMinimum of one year of experience in addiction counselingKnowledge of ethics and professional standardsKnowledge of evidence-based practicesUnderstanding of substance use disorders and co-occurring disordersKnowledge of HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy practicesExperience:Addiction counseling: 1 year (Preferred)Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceMedical Specialty:Addiction MedicineSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekends as neededPay: $70,000-90,000Location: Sparta, NJ 07871
