Customer Service Remote Position

About the Opportunity:The Customer Service Remote Position focuses on delivering direct support to federal student aid borrowers. This role is responsible for addressing routine loan servicing questions via phone, email, or chat, contributing to efficient borrower assistance and enhancing the overall customer service experience within the program.3. Responsibilities:• Respond to borrower inquiries regarding federal student loans through phone, email, and chat.• Provide accurate and timely information about loan servicing.• Maintain compliance with policies protecting personal identifiable information.• Work independently in a remote environment while adhering to established schedules.• May be required to work scheduled holidays, overtime, and Saturdays.4. Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent.• Minimum six months of customer service experience preferred.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.• Ability to work independently remotely.• U.S. residency and citizenship.• Ability to pass background screening and employment verification.• Not delinquent or in default on any federal student loans.• Capability to write using proper grammar and punctuation.• Ability to navigate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.• Private and secure home workspace.• Internet service meeting minimum speed requirements (download: 25mbps single / 50mbps shared; upload: 5 Mbps, 10 Mbps preferred).5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Starting pay of $17 per hour plus $5.09 per hour in Health & Welfare benefits.• Total compensation valued at over $22.99 per hour.• Paid holidays, paid sick leave.6.
