This role provides guidance to academy students throughout the enrollment process, supports student retention efforts, and closely monitors attendance and academic progress. It also serves as a key resource for both students and the broader community, offering information, support, and connections to available programs and services. The coordinator leads the CPR program by developing partnerships, promoting class offerings, ensuring compliance, managing staffing, and conducting instructor classes as needed. This role supports program growth by identifying expansion opportunities, building new partnerships, and promoting the center's ongoing initiatives.Prepares, maintains, and executes for publication the class schedules for each semester by coordinating with the Compliance Coordinator and Operations Supervisor, including entering and maintaining course information for the current and upcoming terms.Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates CPR instructors with the assistance of the Training Center Faculty. This includes recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new instructors. Assists with developing, implementing, and leading team training focused on facility policies, risk management, customer service, and diversity and inclusion.Assists program participants in obtaining and maintaining program enrollment; recruits, refers, and registers students to assigned programs; assists students with completing and assures accuracy of required forms and applications; determines applicant eligibility, waivers, and enrolls students as appropriate; refers students to outside agencies as appropriate.Provides direct student advising, day-to-day student assistance, and counseling using knowledge and CSRIPS policies.Provides a variety of outreach and support services for the assigned student services program, including admissions, enrollment services, tuition options, orientation, and other assigned programs; provides individual case management for program participants.Assists the CSRIPS leadership team in identifying overall student needs and assists in developing programs and solutions to respond accordingly.Coordinates CPR event setups and breakdowns with instructors and Training Center Faculty in accordance with the schedule.Leads and oversees the scheduling and delivery of CPR certi?cation/education programs for the community, including requests from external agencies/groups.Organizes and maintains numerous ?les, documentation from within the department representing agency compliance with CPR Program standards and requirements; compiles information, prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports related to student progress and CPR Program compliance, information, attendance, and assigned activities; conducts surveys and analyzes related data for various program requirements; establishes and maintains a filing system.Evaluates and prepares a strategic plan to grow the CPR program outside of the ?re service.Counsels students with transitioning out of assigned programs at completion of program; performs follow-up with former program participants as required.Reports quarterly progress on activity levels, equipment inventory, and instructor roster related to CPR program utilization and expansion efforts to the CSRIPS Operations Supervisor.Composes and mails correspondence related to program activities and student progress.Attends and participates in assigned meetings, conferences, and training sessions.Performs related duties as assigned.Typical QualificationsBachelor's degree and up to two (2) years of prior experience coordinating CPR community certification programs desired; will consider advanced education, training, or specialized certi?cations in lieu of related prior experience.Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft O?ce Suite and ability to learn new software as needed.Supplemental InformationEXAMINATIONPROCESS:The following includes all steps required to process for the position.
