FOOD SECURITY SUPERVISOR

CAP is seeking an Food Security Supervisor in our Food Security Program. The Food Security Supervisor will Supervise the daily activities involved in the receipt, inspection, cleaning/sanitizing, lining boxes, labeling, recording counts of boxes, packing categorizing, weighing and movement of damaged products received from local food donors for the Food Recovery and Emergency Food Programs both Cayuga and Seneca Counties
The Food Security Supervisor must have the following minimum qualifications: Associate degree in human service, social sciences, communication or related field and supervisory experience preferred or a HS Diploma/GED with 3 years of human service and supervisory experience required. Accreditation in food safety and sanitation courses (SafeServ or The National Registry of Food Safety) preferred. Must have reliable transportation and a clean, valid NYS driver’s license.
This is a full-time, non exempt position. The hourly rate is $20.85/hr, scheduled 35 hrs/wk.
